HA Marks

Office Block, Lyric Square, London

We have been appointed by HA marks to undertake a project to strip out a 13 floor office block at 1 Lyric Square, London. This project required the removal of:

  • All partition walls and ceilings
  • Fixtures and fittings
  • Raised flooring & computer flooring
  • M & E equipment
  • Three plant rooms in an environment where no lifting equipment was feasible
  • All office equipment
  • All doors, door frames and woodwork
  • All waste, plaster board and all block work
  • Toilets

The Co-operative

We have completed a number of projects with the Co-operative and were successful in being taken on as a Co-operative direct contractor completing various projects which ranged from small store format to Co-op superstores.

Our projects for the Co-op included:

  • Removing all fixtures and fittings
  • Plant removal
  • Ceiling and studded partition wall removal
  • Block work
  • Decommission works
  • Full M & E removal
  • Refrigeration removal, relocation and disposal
  • Shelving removal
  • Railing, barrier and trolley bay removal

Tesco Superstore Carlisle

This was an emergency project that we were asked to undertake after the well reported floods affected this part of the world. We were appointed as the strip-out contractor and arrived on site within hours to begin work. We undertook a salvage operation alongside the disposal of all shelving, refrigeration, cold-rooms, checkouts and removal of food. Our professional approach to this project meant that refurbishment works were able to start within 18 days of the flood occurring.

Tesco Kensington High Street

The project required a full store strip-out over two floors to meet the landlord’s approval and included:

  • Removal of shelving and checkout
  • Decommission and removal of refrigeration and plant
  • Removal of travellator
  • Removal of all screed flooring on two floors back to the original concrete
  • Removal of all ceilings and studded partition walls
  • Removal of canteens and toilets
  • Removal of all office equipment including safes

The job was logistically challenging in that the store is on a red route yet our work was completed with the 3 week time frame.

Tesco Store Closures

We were appointed main closure contractor by Tesco to complete a closure project consisting of Express, Metros, Home Plus and Extra formats across the UK &Ireland. The project primarily involved the removal of:

  • All fixtures and fittings
  • Plant
  • Suspended ceiling
  • Studded partition walls
  • Block work
  • Decommission works
  • Full M & E removal
  • Refrigeration,
  • Shelving,
  • Screed flooring back to shell (as per landlords request)

Tesco required closures to be undertaken in a limited timeframe and a discrete manner due to the sensitivity of the closures and media interest. We completed this project ahead of schedule.

Tesco PLC

We have carried out numerous projects for Tesco PLC, and are now a Tesco Approved Contractor.

For Tesco we have:

  • Undertaken store Closures
  • Worked on projects ranging in price from £1000 – £500,000
  • Worked across a number of Tesco brands including Express, Metro, Home plus, Extras
  • Worked on pub and store conversion
  • Worked on Tesco petrol stations
  • Undertaken emergency works within fire and water damaged stores often starting work within hours

Amazon Works

We were appointed by Manning’s to attend Amazon’s Rugby site and complete strip out works including:

  • Stripping out existing services to this site
  • Removing flooring where required
  • Removing walls and partitions
  • Removing and palletising ceiling tiles and the grid for re-use purposes

All work was completed within the project timeframe.

We were also appointed by ISG to attend Amazon’s Warrington site where we were instructed to:

  • Strip out and dismantle existing steel framed hub and all cladding to the hub
  • Remove existing suspended ceilings
  • Remove existing flooring where requested
  • Remove studded partitions where requested
  • Remove carpets tiles floor, fixtures and fittings
  • Remove mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Remove insulated panels

All work was completed within the project timeframe.
